General Policies:

Daily class work assignments are given one day and are due the following morning. Students who fail to turn in an assignment will be given notice in writing for a parent to sign.

Weekly homework choices are sent home on Friday. There are four assignments and a spelling list. One assignment is due each day. You may choose in which order to do the assignments. One is due each morning.

Math Links go home each night after a lesson.

Friday will have a weekly spelling test.

Long term assignments are given approximately one month ahead of time in writing.

Zero notification is given in writing to the parent and is signed by the student.

Nightly Folder Procedures:

Nightly folder procedures are:

• Your student should bring this folder home nightly. Please sign the signature sheet each night.
  
• Use the comment section for any communication to me or place a note in the pocket.
  
• Mondays there will be a homework chart with the weeks choices on it. An activity is due each day. Your student can choose in which order they do the activities. There will also be a spelling list. There will be a spelling test on Friday.
  
• Any daily work not finished will be in the folder and is due the next day. Ten points per day is subtracted from the score for late papers.

Students earn five minutes of fame by bringing their folders back daily, signed by a parent. Five stickers in a row earns them five minutes of fame.

Please check your student's folder nightly.

Re-Do Policy:

If work is not Third Grade quality, students may re-do it for an averaged grade of the same two papers. The re-do work is to be done in the SAME week of the original assignment, or it will not be accepted.

We hope students will take advantage of this and re-do papers when they fall short of class standards.
